KARAOKE CONTEST RULES
Grand
Prize: $500 Cash
To be awarded Sunday July 14th
at
Larksville Bazaar Start time 7pm
All contestants MUST BE PRESENT BY 7 PM-JULY 14TH
You will be put in order by Crazy Chris
If there is
a song you want , bring it with you
OR CHECK
WITH THE DJ IF WE HAVE IT.
Be prepared to sing a
backup
song in case of a tie
All ages are welcome although some locations we have are
over 18 clubs, Please check with the owner as to age requirements
ALL
JUDGES ARE SECRET
You may sing as a duet ths year,
But if you qualify as a duet you may not qualify as a solo contestant
If you qualify as a duet you must remain a duet, May not sing if one drops out.
If
singing as a duet....and win, One person will be awarded the Cash.
Everyone under the age of 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian
Lineup
for contestants performing in the Karaoke Contest will begin 20 minutes
before the start of the contest. Contestants
are to meet at the Karaoke Contest Table
near the stage. All contestants must Sign in with Crazy Chris
You will be given a number upon arrival to show your place in the contest lineup.
All performances
are limited to one song per contestant. Performers must remain on
stage during their performance. All performances must
be family friendly.
Due
to time and space restrictions, no live instruments at this event.
No songs that do not have Karaoke Tracks
This is a karaoke contest, and singing to the recorded backing track.
No flash effects, fake blood, spewing liquids, etc.
Only amateur singers will be allowed to enter.
No current, past Band Members may enter,
If I am given Proof that You are, You will be Disqualified.
Once you have won a qualifying round then you
can only compete
in the final round. If you do not
win a qualifying round
then you are welcome to return
and compete again
Any on stage props must be
approved by Crazy Chris before your performance.
We don't mind
if someone else is doing your song. But if we see a duplicate we will give you the option to change before the show. YOU DO
NOT HAVE TO CHANGE!
We reserve the right
to disqualify an entrant or stop performance if we feel it has
become inappropriate. Removal of clothing, jumping from
the stage, damaging
equipment, etc. will result in immediate disqualification.
Any Foul Language will result in immediate disqualification
Decisions
of Crazy Chris are final.
Any contestant who attempts
to argue with the
judges or staff or other Contestants
will be disqualified from competition.
Prizes will
be awarded at the end of the competition.
Contestants
must be present when prizes are awarded in order to receive their prizes.
Contest rules and
Karaoke Contest are subject to change by Crazy Chris.
Karaoke
Contest may be cancelled due to weather conditions.
The Dj's only involvement is as an outside contractor
to provide the karaoke sound equipment.
